1. INTRODUCTION

HostingOne group entity, the details of which are indicated in the HostingOne's Terms of Service, ("HostingOne") provides you web-hosting, domain name registration, and related products and service.

HostingOne seeks to ensure the highest level of data privacy when offering its variety of quality products and services to HostingOne customers and subscribers ("Subscribers") (collectively, "You", or "Users").

At HostingOne, the privacy and security of our Users is of paramount importance. HostingOne is committed to protecting the data you share with us.

When this Policy mentions "HostingOne", "we," "us", or "our", it refers to HostingOne that is responsible for protection of your personal information in line with this Privacy Policy ("Data Controller").

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how HostingOne processes information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual ("Personal Data") collected on our Site, our services ("Service"), forums and our mobile applications ("Platform").

All personal data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

HostingOne shall process all Personal Data adhering to the general data processing principles:

Collect and process Personal Data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes
Ensure that Personal Data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary
Ensure that Personal Data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
Ensure that Personal Data is kept in a form which permits identification no longer than necessary
Process Personal Data in a manner that ensures appropriate security against unauthorized processing or loss

All and any information stored on HostingOne's Platform is treated as strictly confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by qualified and authorized personnel only.


3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1. Information You provide to us

Information that is necessary for the use of the HostingOne Platform

We ask for and collect the following personal information about you when you use the HostingOne Platform. This information is necessary for the adequate performance of the contractual arrangement which is in place between you and us and to allow us to comply with our legal obligations. Failing to provide any of this data or decision to delete or object to the processing of any of such data may result in de-activation of your HostingOne Account.

Account Signup Information

When you sign up to HostingOne, we require you to provide minimum information - email address and password. In some particular cases we ask you to provide more information - such as your first and last name, identity verification, contact details. Such information is required when you are applying for a registration of domain name and indicated as the WHOIS information.

Login information

We collect Login scope and Email scope from Google, and email from Facebook.

Identity verification information

To comply with the rules set forth by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) or registries, before the registration of the new domain name or thereafter, HostingOne may collect identity verification information.

Operational verification information

In certain operational, legal, abuse-prevention, or compliance-related situations, we may collect and process additional information and supporting documentation necessary to investigate, verify, or resolve requests and disputes.

Payment Information

To order and use features of the HostingOne Platform (such as web-hosting, domain name registration), we may require you to provide certain financial information in order to facilitate the processing of payments. We use 3rd party (payment processor) services, so we do not collect and store credit card information.

Communications, Chats, Messaging

When you communicate with HostingOne (including by using general inquiries windows, chat windows or chatbots), we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide or disclose.

AI Memory

In cases where AI Memory feature is enabled by you, to provide you this feature we use useful details from onboarding information you provide (such as your goals and project details).

Job applicants' information

We also collect information that you provided to us by applying to any of the open career positions by e-mail or otherwise.

Participation information

When you apply to, register for, or participate in any programme, partnership, or initiative offered by HostingOne, we collect the information you provide as part of the application and participation process.

Visitors and users of our User's websites or services

We may also collect information pertaining to visitors and users of our User's websites or services (Users-of-Users), solely for and on our Users' behalf.

HostingOne processes information you provide to us on the legal basis of:

  • Your consent, expressed when voluntarily submitting and filling your Personal Data details in sign-up forms, by e-mail, request or inquiries window, etc.; and
  • Conclusion and performance of contractual arrangements and obligations between HostingOne and the User;
  • Pursuance of legitimate interests of HostingOne, as Data Controller and manager of HostingOne platform;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation to which HostingOne is subject, including, but not limited to, ICANN rules.

3.2. Information We Collect when You use the Platform

When you use the HostingOne Platform or contact us directly by any communication channel, we may collect information, including personal information, about the services you use and how you use them.

Automatic collection of data

Log data and Device information

We automatically collect log data and device information when you access and use the HostingOne Platform. That includes: IP addresses, browser information, device properties, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data.

Tracking technologies and Cookies

We use cookies, beacons, tags, scripts and other similar technologies, such as CI codes (click tracking), ISC (source tracking), and ITC (item tracking codes).

Usage information

We use a tool called "Google Analytics" to collect information about your interactions with the HostingOne Platform.

Geo-location data

We collect information about your approximate location as determined by data such as your IP address to offer you an improved user experience and comply with applicable legal requirements.


4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA?

We use, store, combine and process information, including personal information, about you to provide, understand, improve, and develop the HostingOne Platform, create and maintain a trusted and safer environment and comply with our legal obligations.

Personal identification information is collected and processed for the purposes of User identification as well use of services and domain name registration.

To Create and Maintain Trusted Environment

We verify or authenticate information or identifications provided by you. We also use collected information to detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents.

To Create Aggregated Statistical Data

To carry out market research and analysis necessary for running out our business, to improve our services we use aggregated and/or inferred non-personal information.

To Stay Connected

We use information about data usage, devices, operating systems to diagnose problems with our servers, to administer our Platform, to identify characteristics of major users so that we may optimize our applications.

To Customize Marketing

To provide more customized offers to our Users, we may conduct data analysis based on information you provide to us, your interactions with the HostingOne Platform and its Users.

To Send Service and Billing Messages

HostingOne may also contact you with important information regarding our Services, or your use thereof.

To Register Domain

In certain jurisdictions or pursuant to the rules of the ICANN or certain registries, domain name registration information has to be made available and accessible to the public through a WHOIS search.


5. JOB APPLICANTS

HostingOne welcomes all qualified Applicants to apply to any of the open positions published at our career pages by sending us their contact details and CV ("Applicant Information").

We understand that privacy and discreteness are crucial to our Applicants, and are committed to keeping Applicant Information private and using it solely for HostingOne's internal recruitment purposes.

Please note that HostingOne may retain Applicant Information submitted to it for no longer than 1 year after the applied position has been filled or closed.


6. DIRECT MARKETING

When creating an Account at our Platform, you are free to opt-out from receiving various offers directly to your e-mail, phone or in your Account.

If you wish to revoke your consent for receiving direct marketing notifications, you can do it at any time by:

  • clicking the opt-out link in the e-mail message;
  • changing the settings in your Account; or
  • contacting us at privacy@hostingone.net.

7. RETENTION OF YOUR DATA

We retain your Personal Data as long as it is necessary for the provision of our services, compliance with our legal obligations, resolving of disputes, and enforcement of our agreements. When we no longer need to process your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we will delete your Personal Data from our systems.


8. HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA

8.1. Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your Personal Data with third-party service providers to provide you with our services, such as web hosting, data analysis, payment processing, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, and auditing.

8.2. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

We may disclose your Personal Data to courts, law enforcement or governmental authorities, or authorized third parties, if and to the extent we are required or permitted to do so by law or if such disclosure is reasonably necessary:

  • to comply with our legal obligations
  • to comply with legal process and to respond to claims asserted against HostingOne
  • to respond to verified requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity
  • to enforce and administer our Terms of Service, the Payment Terms or other agreements with Members
  • to protect the rights, property or personal safety of HostingOne, its employees, its Members, or members of the public.

You have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:

Right of access

You can request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.

Right to rectification

You can ask us to update or correct any inaccurate Personal Data.

Right to erasure

You can ask us to delete your Personal Data under certain circumstances.

Right to restrict processing

You can ask us to limit how we use your Personal Data.

Right to data portability

You can ask us to transfer your Personal Data to another organization.

Right to object

You can object to the processing of your Personal Data.


10. CROSS BORDER TRANSFERS

Your Personal Data may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. By using the Platform, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country.

HostingOne has implemented reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Data within our organization from accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use.

13. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.


14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last revised" date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when the Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Platform.
